ERASMUS+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, and youth in Europe.

It has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion. This is nearly double the funding compared to its predecessor programme (2014-2020).

The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.

It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also

  • supports the European Pillar of Social Rights
  • implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027
  • develops the European dimension in sport

Outcomes

The outcomes of Erasmus+ are available in reports and compendia of statistics, as well as through the Erasmus+ Projects Platform. This includes most of the initiatives funded by the programme and a selection of good practices and success stories.

KA1: MOBILITY OF LEARNERS AND STAFF IN SCHOOL EDUCATION

Liceo Scientifico Maria Curie is a state secondary school focused on STEM subjects, classical and modern humanities, and English. There is also a section where subjects are taught in both Italian and English.

Students reach high-level standards and are mainly oriented towards university studies.

We are located in Piedmont, close to Turin and Milan. We have about 1000 students, aged 14 to 18, and about 100 teachers.

We have been accredited for Erasmus+ 2021-2027.

The project we have been accredited for focuses on 4 main areas:

  • digital awareness
  • green transition
  • inclusion: equity rather than equality
  • European network.

We would like to develop the areas mentioned above in order to improve the quality of both teaching and learning experience in our school.

We are looking for school partners who share the same interests and thus would be willing to cooperate in these mobility actions:

  • job shadowing of staff (teachers mainly, but also headmaster and secretaries);
  • students’ mobilities addressed to the whole class as a group but also to individuals for longer periods of time.

We are ready to offer the same (hosting job shadowing and students).

We have been accredited 50 mobilities for teaching and non-teaching staff, and 150 mobilities for learners.

Here are 7 presentations created by the students of 1DNR in the 2024/2025 school year. They give you a glimpse into our school life and provide more information about all our project areas, thanks to interviews with teachers, school staff, and students who coordinate them.
